There is a place not too far from where I live that is nicknamed Hobbit Land. It has to be to most beautiful place I have ever been!
It's 166 acres of woods that is privately owned, but the public is free to walk through the trails at their leisure. There are stone bridges, creeks, and moss covered rocks all throughout the acreage.
I went not too long ago with my husband and his brother. We had a blast hiking through the majestic forest. I brought back a small rock and acorn just to remind myself that places like that really do exist AND are in reach! I CAN'T wait to go there in autumn!!
Next time, I will be sure to bring a camera!
