I love browsing about and shopping on Etsy. There is so  much creativity to awe over! My wish lists gets longer with each visit! What makes it even more interesting is know that the creations are made from people all over the world and right in your neighborhood!

Hobbit Land

There is a place not too far from where I live that is nicknamed Hobbit Land. It has to be to most beautiful place I have ever been!

It's 166 acres of woods that is privately owned, but the public is free to walk through the trails at their leisure. There are stone bridges, creeks, and moss covered rocks all throughout the acreage.

I went not too long ago with my husband and his brother. We had a blast hiking through the majestic forest. I brought back a small rock and acorn just to remind myself that places like that really do exist AND are in reach! I CAN'T wait to go there in autumn!!

Next time, I will be sure to bring a camera!

Cupcakes!

Who doesn't love cupcakes?! They're cute, fun, yummy and always bring a smile to the lucky receiver's face!

They are even fun to make with polymer clay! I'm always trying to find new ways to incorporate cupcakes into a craft that can be used.

Tea Room/Bakery/Inn

It's my dream (one of them) to someday open a tea room and bakery.

I would love to have a cozy place where you can have an afternoon tea and danish. Or, maybe you'd like to enjoy a cup a tea and then head next door to my bakery for a delicious dessert.

After I become established, I would love to expand it into a small inn with about 8 rooms. I loved the Dragonfly Inn on Gilmore Girls. That is sort of the look I would go for - sort of whimsical yet cottage-like with a tad of Victorian charm.

Tea cups, cupcakes, and breakfast in bed!

Oh.... One can dream :)

Needle Felting

Needle felting is another craft that I have been wanting to try out. I always find myself awed by the sculptures and creations that fellow etsians have created by needle felting.

Soon I will be getting some wool and felting supplies and I can't wait to make mushrooms and all kinds of whimsical creations!

Enchanting Fairy Houses

I came across Rachel's incredible fairy houses about a year ago and fell in love. The detail that she puts into each one is amazing! It's so easy to let the mind wander into a magical fairyland when you peek inside one of her handmade fairy houses. I hope to own one someday!

Lollipop, lollipop!

Who doesn't love lollipops? These have to be my favorite thing to make with polymer clay! The possibilities are endless! You can use this method to make miniature lollipops for dollhouses, create whimsical ornaments to hang as home decor (can't wait for Christmas to try this out), or even stick them on the end of sewing pins to create a fun and unique pin topper!
